(headquarters: Menlo Park, California, United States; President & CEO Jayshree Ullal; hereinafter, "Arista"). Arista offers best-of-breed 10 Gigabit Ethernet solutions that redefine scalability, robustness, and price–performance for data center and cloud computing environments.

Deployment of "public clouds" by internet hosting providers in Japan is already underway. The economics of the cloud business model appeals to small/medium enterprises who can now offset large scale capex investments with a usage based monthly fee. Many Japanese enterprises are also building new data centers and augmenting existing ones with "private clouds" to reap the economic benefits of the cloud model as well.
