In 2013, we conducted an awareness/attitude survey of all CTC Group employees covering the following five categories: "Open Organization," "Culture of Challenge," "Bright & Cheerful Corporate Atmosphere," "Technological Capabilities & Personnel" and "Worthwhile Work & Spirit of Love for the Company." Based on the findings of this awareness survey, we held opinion exchange meetings with the purpose of listening to the voices of our employees and linking those opinions to actual improvements. Along with opinions submitted to us by individual employees, the survey and exchange meetings served as an impetus for us to link the voices of our employees to the formulation of actual company policies; such as in the creation of our cutting-edge technology lab, a communication infrastructure for sharing technical information and knowledge on a company/group-wide scale; expansion and improvement of educational training with the participation of managers; and the holding of employee birthday parties hosted by the company president with the purpose of energizing communication between employees and developing a culture of openness within the organization.
A total of seven opinion exchange meetings were held during 2013
Employee birthday celebrations are held on a monthly basis
We conducted another awareness survey the following year (in 2014), and held a panel discussion which we named Employees' General Meeting, in which the company management responded to the voices of employees. We also carried out the WAKUWAKU Project; an activity aimed at supporting the positive feelings of employees (e.g. feeling excited to be working at CTC, and wanting to challenge themselves further) and linking them to actual improvements in the workplace.
