ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Satoshi Kikuchi, President & CEO; hereinafter "CTC") has signed an exclusive distributor agreement with Tableau Software (headquartered in Seattle, Washington; Christian Chabot, CEO; hereinafter "Tableau") and today commences the offer of a BI solution using Tableau 8.0, the latest version of Tableau's main BI tool. Tableau Japan K.K. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Shun Hamada, President; hereinafter "Tableau Japan") is marketing the product and providing technical support.
About Tableau's BI tools
Since its foundation in 2003, Tableau has specialized in visual analysis under the BI environment, and has created a unique market. Tableau's BI software is designed to enable everyone in all relevant divisions, including those at management level, to analyze data intuitively, conveniently, quickly, arbitrarily and effectively without having to wait for support from the IT-related division.
