Managed Service

CTC retains devices necessary for customers as CTC properties to provide comprehensive services including taking security countermeasures, system configuration, maintenance and operation. With these services, customers are released from all troublesome tasks so that they can greatly reduce TCO.

Features

  • Because devices necessary for services are owned by CTC, customers' initial introduction costs are reduced. This also releases customers from troublesome tasks such as management and maintenance/upgrading of devices. Customers may possess their own devices and only utilize CTC's services for configuration, maintenance and operation.
  • Troublesome setting changes will be conducted by CTC. CTC will propose ideal settings and change settings based on customers' requirements.
  • CTC will handle operation monitoring and failures. CTC will monitor customers' devices 24/7 year-round. When failure is detected, CTC's SE will determine failure, and is responsible for everything from arranging maintenance to inspection when devices are replaced.

Service

Managed Firewall

Juniper SSG Series provides as follow: SSG5, SSG140, SSG520M, and SSG550M.
Annual setting change frequency is 0, 3, 12, or 24.

  • CTC engineers will request customers' requirements at time of installation in order to conduct appropriate security settings.
  • Optional log analyzing system (NetInsight Security Reporting Center: SRC) is available.
  • Setting changes and security patches will be applied once operation is commenced.

Managed Load Balancer

F5 BIG-IP series (LTM-1500, LTM-3400, LTM-6400, etc.) is provided.
Annual setting change frequency is 12.

  • Line redundant by Link Controller is also possible.
  • CTC will conduct appropriate settings including monitoring settings and switching method for load balancing at time of installation.
  • CTC also supports additional settings for load balancers and programming by iRules.
  • Setting changes and security patches will be applied once operation is commenced.

Managed SSL-VPN

F5 FirePass series (FirePass1200 and FirePass4100) is provided.
Annual setting change frequency is 12.

  • CTC will request customer requirements at time of installation in order to make settings based on customer's security and convenience considerations.
  • CTC's authentication partnership with Active Directory enables unified management of added or deleted staff.
  • Enhanced authentication is also possible through authentication partnership such as with fingerprint authentication and the SECUREMATRIX.
  • Setting changes and security patches will be applied once operation is commenced.

Managed Network appliance

Provided machine is CISCO (edge class).
Annual setting change frequency is 12.

CTC will request customer requirements at time of installation in order to conduct appropriate security settings.

Managed Server

  • SUN and HP devices are available for hardware. Linux and Solaris are available for OS. In addition to commercial products, Solaris and RedHat, freeshare CentOS can be used for configuration.
  • Configuration of website, DB (MySQL) and e-mail is possible using commercial and freeshare software.
  • Setting changes and security patches will be applied once operation is commenced.
