System Monitoring
Network Monitoring
Your server and network equipment is constantly monitored of its operational status by PING test and ensured of healthy application operations by TCP port checks. An alert is immediately detected when there is no response from the equipment and the user will immediately be notified by e-mail of the alert event.



Application Monitoring
We monitor URL browsing of the WWW, incoming/outgoing mail, incoming/outgoing FTP files, and DNS addresses lookup (from name or address). An alert is detected if data is not properly received or if the system falls below an expected value. The user will immediately be notified by e-mail of the alert event.



Server Monitoring
The CPU, memory and disk threshold is monitored by resource monitoring, as well as process operational status monitoring, and log monitoring with a keyword from the system/application log. An alert is detected when exceeding the threshold or falling below the expected value and the user will immediately be notified by e-mail of the alert event. Further, the target server is not loaded since CTC monitors the server without implementing an agent in the server being monitored.

System Operating
Operation Reporting
Phone contact is made in addition to automated mail notice of the alert event. The user also receives a trouble report by mail, at the same time. The monthly report features the trouble type, date/time of trouble, trouble remedies and work status.



Primary Measures Against
Failure
If there is any troubleshooting,
CTC assesses the situation on behalf of the user to reboot the system by command, restart application, replace the equipment, replace the disk, identify the source of trouble and other primary measures against failure. CTC also contacts the maintenance and repair services at the user's request and keeps the user updated of the current state, at all times.



Periodical Operations
We replace tapes, reboot systems and provide periodical support services, on behalf of the user.



Operation Outsourcing
We support overall system operation tasks by outsourcing operations.

System Reporting
Resource Report
We provide an operating status report of systems, covering parameters of maximum/average value and error rates of the CPU, memory and disk space use.



Application Response Report
We provide a response status report on maximum/average value and error rates of the WWW, mail, FTP and DNS.



Traffic Report
We provide a traffic report on maximum/average value of the router, switches, communication equipment and server.
