Launch of SaaS-based Digital Marketing Solution in Collaboration with Sitecore

ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Tatsushi Shingu, President and CEO; hereinafter CTC) will begin offering a digital marketing solution utilizing Sitecore products in collaboration with Sitecore Japan Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Kensaburo Tamura, Area Vice President for Japan), the subsidiary of Sitecore Corporation A/S, a U.S.-based provider of customer management solutions. By analyzing the behavioral history of website visitors in real time using AI, the solution delivers personalized content such as videos and text tailored to each individual customer, supporting companies in enhancing their customer experience (UX). We will offer the solution to companies facing challenges in digital marketing operations, and aim to achieve 1 billion yen in orders over the next three years.

In the digital marketing market in Japan, the evolution of generative AI is driving greater efficiency in marketing operations by automating creation of content, such as blog posts and email messages. However, automatically generated contents can often be highly similar to each other or inaccurate. To deliver content optimized for each individual customer, there is a growing need for services that can centrally manage and analyze customer data, enabling a precise understanding of customer needs.

The AI-powered new solution analyzes website visitors’ attributes, preferences, and behavioral history to automatically generate personalized contents such as web pages and targeted sales and campaign messages. By adopting Sitecore CDP/Personalize, Sitecore's Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Sitecore XM Cloud, its Content Management System (CMS), the solution supports intuitive screen operations for analysis, content design and management, helping marketing professionals quickly complete their tasks. Furthermore, as a SaaS-based cloud service, it can be deployed in a short period with reduced initial costs.

Sitecore CDP/Personalize collects data from various sources, including websites, emails, social media, internal systems, and third-party products, to enable centralized customer data management. AI analyzes the customer data in real time and recommends the optimal actions, including selection of optimal timing and channels for delivering content.

Sitecore XM Cloud is a content management system (CMS) that uses AI to suggest and generate content, streamlining website content management. Content creation and editing can be performed quickly and easily with intuitive drag-and-drop operations. Additionally, it evaluates design quality and compares different content variations to optimize performance. It also supports API integration with other systems, enabling consistent content delivery across various channels.

CTC will offer this solution in collaboration with AKQA^*1, a global platinum partner of Sitecore. AKQA has supported numerous large-scale projects, including the implementation of Sitecore XM Cloud, the customer database, for Bunnings, Australia’s leading retailer of home improvement and lifestyle products. Leveraging AKQA’s extensive expertise and technological capabilities, CTC will provide comprehensive support from the upstream phases to help companies enhance their customer experience.
