CTC Opens Its First Overseas Base in Singapore

Responds to support needs in overseas expansion

ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation (headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Yoichi Okuda; hereinafter, "CTC") is proud to announce that on April 1, 2011, it established a Singapore branch, its first overseas base, to respond to the support the needs of customers expanding overseas. Operations will commence from the beginning of June.

In its medium-term business plan announced in April 2010, CTC raised overseas expansion as one of its future growth strategies, for the purpose of breaking ground in new growth areas by strengthening response to customers' overseas expansion needs. The Singapore branch will be positioned as the Asia base in the CTC group and will respond to the global support needs of our customers.

The Global Business Promotion Team, an organization to plan and promote the Company's global business strategy, was also established on April 1. By coordinating the CTC group's sales organizations, Global Business Promotion Team and Singapore branch, the group's collective power will be exerted and global expansion will be accelerated, starting from Singapore and continuing to greater activities in the United States, China and other areas.
