CTC Establishes ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Future Foundation to Promote Next-Generation Development

Fostering the Next Generation of Young People with a Focus on Its Scholarships and Education Business, and Expanding Its Social Contribution Activities

On October 1, ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation (Satoshi Kikuchi, President & CEO; headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter “CTC”) established the ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Future Foundation for the purpose of fostering the next generation of young people with a focus on its IT-related scholarships and education business.

Based on our mission of “leveraging IT’s potential to change the future for the Global Good,” the CTC Group has identified three material topics (materiality) - “Provide trusted IT services,” “Cultivate personnel who can change society for the better,” and “Harness IT to build a sustainable society” - and has been undertaking CSR activities through our businesses.

Against this backdrop, the CTC Group established the general incorporated foundation for the purpose of undertaking original activities focused on the IT-related scholarships and education business, and raising employees’ awareness of social contributions. The CTC Group will support IT education for children and the young, study for young people who aspire to work in IT, and study and job opportunity creation for young people with disabilities, promoting proactive social contribution activities with a view towards becoming a public interest incorporated foundation.
