ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation (Satoshi Kikuchi, President & CEO; headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "CTC") today commences to sell wearable Fitbit activity trackers provided by Fitbit, Inc. (James Park, CEO; headquartered in California, USA; hereinafter "Fitbit") for corporate accounts. They are available as part of the lineup of the Wellness Work Style, solutions to support health and productivity management for employee through IT, which are promoted by CTC. We are in the process of developing a service for corporate accounts, including data collection and analysis functions for corporate managers. We will strive to expand the B2B2E*1 business and provide it for 100,000 users, targeting companies and health insurance associations for three years.

Every year companies become more interested in health and productivity management for employee and they work toward improving profitability and corporate value through the promotion of heath among their employees.

Fitbit products are wristband- or portable-style wearable activity trackers that collect data about the number of steps, heart rate, hours of sleep, diet and calories burned, and suchlike for users, and can be self-controlled using smartphones and PCs. These devices have been mainly used for individuals. To cater to the increase in demand from companies that have become more aware of health and productivity management for employee, Fitbit strengthens business for corporate accounts.

CTC commences to sell Fitbit products for corporate accounts as part of the lineup for Wellness Work Style and aims at expanding the B2B2E business. Companies can distribute these products to their employees free of charge or sell or lend them as tools to consult about their lifestyles and strengthen health and productivity management by encouraging their employees to actively increase their awareness of health.

CTC is also developing its original dashboard and portal, which will collect Fitbit data and make it available to the company's persons in charge of health management and the employees. The company's administrators will be able to visualize and analyze employees' health conditions by centrally controlling the data from Fitbit and other data, such as routine medical examinations and working hours, for the specific use of providing health guidance.

CTC provides financial support to partially cover Fitbit costs, pioneering benefit measures for its employees. We will promote service development in the field of health tech, which integrates health care with IT in order to encourage healthy and efficient ways of working, and support of our clients' health and productivity management.

With this announcement, we received the following comment from Fitbit.

"We are very pleased to work with CTC to promote solutions to support health and productivity management. We hope to make the most of the strengths of the two companies, further advance IoT, and help more customers maintain their heath."
