2014 New Year's Message "New Technology, New Edge"

I want to wish each and every one of you the very happiest of New Years. In 2013, the CTC Group formulated a medium-term management plan that set the goal of "Take charge and lead the evolution of the IT industry." Under that banner, we began to develop a cloud business and expand international operations. In 2014, we will take on new edge by aggressively adopting advanced technology and by digging deeper into our current operations so that, as a company, we are able to offer greater satisfaction to our employees.

There are bright signs of the economic horizon thanks to monetary easing and the recovery of the US economy. Overseas, IT continues to change and advance as new concepts and technologies come into being. The CTC Group requires bold changes for its long-term growth, and a renewed concentration on those areas where we do best. During 2014, we will focus on strengthening our technology capacities, expanding our cloud offerings and other service businesses, developing our global business, and creating a company that is satisfying and stimulating for its employees.

More specifically, this will mean developing our business in ways that make "CTC synonymous with cloud" by capitalizing on our core strength of bridging and combining advanced technologies. Playing a central role will be the "cloudage ElasticCUVIC" cloud service, a proprietary service that brings together our entire range of expertise from system configuration to operation. We will also expand our service-oriented businesses by enhancing our cloud services for specific sectors and security services, and integrating group companies to improve our outsourcing services.

Last year, we established two group companies in Southeast Asia. We have already begun to do business and accelerate our growth there. This year, we will begin to link data centers in Malaysia, Singapore and Japan, and will help to spread the cloud and other IT to the Southeast Asian region using the "CTC DNA" of providing customers with the most advanced technology available. As we move into the future and work towards global expansion, we will also enhance the environment within the company, changing our ways of working and providing opportunities for employees to advance and take on new challenges.
