CTC Global Launched in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, 20th June 2013 - ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation (CTC) announced the launch of its new subsidiaries "CTC Global Sdn Bhd" and "CTC Global Pte. Ltd." in Malaysia and Singapore on 28th May and 30th May 2013 respectively. The launch events were attended by over 220 customers and partners at the Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur and over 130 in Singapore.

The launch in Malaysia was officiated by Satoshi Kikuchi, President & CEO, ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation (CTC), His Excellency Shigeru Nakamura, the Ambassador of Japan to Malaysia, Y Bhg Datuk Badlisham Ghazali, Chief Executive Officer, Multimedia Development Corporation and Dennis Koh, Managing Director, CTC Global Sdn Bhd.

CTC Global Sdn Bhd, formerly known CSC ESI Sdn Bhd, has been providing systems integration services to enterprise customers from the commercial and government sectors for over 40 years and has strong partnership with global leading IT vendors. The systems integration business was previously known as Computer Systems Advisers (M) Bhd (CSA), a company acquired by CSC in 1999.

Powered by a team of 600 qualified and experienced IT professionals, CTC Global Sdn Bhd supports its customers through a country-wide network of 23 service centres and delivers an extensive portfolio of systems integration solutions to enable businesses to operate more efficiently.

In March 2013, CTC and ITOCHU Corporation acquired CSC ESI, formerly known as a systems integration business of CSC Malaysia, and CSC Automated, the systems integration subsidiary in Singapore, from US global IT services company, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), for USD90 million. The acquisition is one of CTC's growth strategies to expand its operations globally.
