ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation (Satoshi Kikuchi, President and CEO; headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "CTC") announced that it has adopted a Basic Policy on Diversity to improve the job satisfaction of employees and to reinforce its operating foundations. CTC also began to take initiatives on April 1, 2020, concerning the understanding and inclusion of LGBT*1 and SOGI*2 issues.
To create an environment and corporate culture that permit active participation of diverse human resources, CTC has taken initiatives such as employees' work-style reforms, health and productivity management, aid for active participation of women, seniors, and people with disabilities, and support for balancing work with childcare/nursing care. Now, the company has formulated the Basic Policy on Diversity to better promote diversity by including LGBT and SOGI issues. Based on this new policy, CTC will also establish a consultation office related to LGBT and SOGI issues, and enhance relevant internal training programs, aiming to promote employees' understanding.
