Launch of Security Support Service Utilizing a Multi-Vendor Verifying Environment

Proposing optimal security solutions by simulating system environments tailored to customer requirements

Jul 29, 2025 ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation

ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Tatsushi Shingu, President and CEO; hereinafter CTC) today launched a new security support service utilizing our multi-vendor verifying environment, the Cyber Security Lab (hereinafter CSL), designed for verifying and comparing security services. The service enables verification of the functions and integrations of various products tailored to each customer's system, and offers optimal security solutions by combining a wide range of products, including the latest security products.

With the rise in cyberattacks and the increasing sophistication of attack methods, multilayered security measures that combine multiple security products are considered effective. However, efficiently deploying these security products poses several challenges, including verifying compatibility with existing systems, and securing specialized knowledge and sufficient resources.

CSL is a proprietary security product verifying environment developed by CTC, enabling rapid verification of the functionality of multiple security products and their integration with existing systems. It allows for verification in system environments simulated tailored to customer requirements, enabling the selection of optimal solutions that combine various products by comprehensively evaluating from multiple perspectives, including performance, operation, and cost.

CSL always maintains a portfolio of over 20 security products, covering a wide range of areas including cloud security, endpoint security, identity management/access control, and integrated monitoring/operational automation. By enabling rapid deployment, we help reduce risks such as data breaches and system downtime in our customers' systems.

For comparative evaluations, CTC's security experts propose best practices tailored to customers’ specific needs. We provide end-to-end support from selecting comparable products and identifying key evaluation criteria, to building verifying environments, conducting system implementation, functional testing, and assisting for operations and monitoring.

CTC is working on expanding our advanced cybersecurity solutions to meet growing cybersecurity needs by discovering the latest technologies and enhancing partnerships through our US subsidiary, ITOCHU Techno-Solutions America, Inc., and tech startups both in Japan and abroad. By swiftly adding effective products against the latest threats such as ransomware and zero-day attacks to the CSL portfolio, we enable verification and proposals of system environments tailored to customer needs. In addition, our hands-on verification at CSL helps our engineers master the necessary technical elements and deployment and operational practices, fostering talent capable of proposing seamless cybersecurity countermeasures.

We plan to expand the number of portfolio products at CSL to 30 over the next 3 years and to test a wide range of security solutions by leveraging CTC’s unique strength in combining diverse technologies. This will strengthen our capability to propose security solutions and enhance the technical expertise of our engineers, thereby supporting the stable operations of our customers' systems.
