Sep 25, 2025 ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation

ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Tatsushi Shingu, President and CEO; hereinafter CTC) has launched C-GOAT™, our cloud-based capital market solution for the financial industry. Its bond management package streamlines bond trading operations and quarterly financial results preparation tasks, while supporting enhanced governance through centralized head‑office oversight. Since it is offered as a cloud service, it can be deployed quickly and allows for phased rollout across locations. Pricing starts at ¥24 million per year (excluding tax). We will offer the service mainly to financial institutions' subsidiaries and branches in Asia and regional banks in Japan, aiming to achieve ¥3 billion in revenue over the next three years.

Bond management is a critical function for financial institutions, directly impacting revenue tracking and risk control. Bond trading varies widely in form due to factors like currency, bond type, fluctuations in interest rates and prices. Therefore, most of major financial institution’s capital market divisions use advanced capital market solutions. On the other hand, for their subsidiaries and branches in Asia and regional banks in Japan, whose trading volumes are low, adopting the same systems often results in excessive functionality and high costs. There are also challenges, such as complying with each country’s regulations and achieving flexible customization when integrating with local systems. Consequently, many of them still continue to manage bond transactions manually, creating risks of dependency on specific individuals’ expertise and transcription errors.

C-GOAT™ is a cloud-based capital market solution for financial institutions' subsidiaries and branches in Asia and regional banks in Japan. Its bond management package covers essential functions like bond trading management and financial results preparation, while flexibly accommodating country-specific interest payment calculation methods and tax regulations. This enables adoption and operation of the system tailored to business needs, even in diverse environments such as overseas subsidiaries and regional banks where operational requirements differ. Furthermore, by centralizing management information previously dispersed across multiple locations, it contributes to strengthening head office-led governance and standardizing operational rules. Since it is offered as a subscription-based service, it helps reduce initial costs and enables rapid deployment.

C-GOAT™ adopts C-NOAH*3, CTC's cloud service that complies with stringent security standards in the financial industry, such as FISC Guidelines*1 and PCI DSS*2, as its cloud platform’s infrastructure. Additionally, we can also provide only C-GOAT™ applications for customers’ on‑premises or cloud environments.

CTC has developed C-GOAT™ by leveraging our extensive expertise gained through building and operating large-scale systems for the financial industry, as well as our experience in developing and deploying cloud services for the industry. Going forward, we plan to expand the scope of the service to cover foreign exchange, derivatives, and financial products such as digital bonds, thereby supporting financial institutions in improving operational efficiency and strengthening governance.
