ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Tatsushi Shingu, President and CEO; hereinafter CTC) has launched Data & AI Offering Suite, a suite of services designed to support business transformation with the use of AI agents. The services help identify factors that hinder the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) in business and support the redesign of business processes by leveraging AI agents in areas where tasks are still inefficiently or inaccurately done manually. CTC provides AI deployment support services, AI agents that improve operational efficiency, and data platforms to cater to customers’ objectives. We will offer the services primarily to companies seeking to streamline and transform highly labor-intensive and expert-individual-dependent operations, and aim to secure 100 orders over the next three years.

In recent years, as the adoption of AI to improve operational efficiency has expanded, there have been cases where fundamental factors hindering the enterprise-wide improvement are not identified, resulting in failure to achieve KPIs. As the AI adoptions remain limited to optimization at the individual department level, an increasing number of companies are facing governance-related challenges, including the protection of proprietary data, cost optimization, and security.

Data & AI Offering Suite is a comprehensive suite of services designed to consistently support the utilization of data and AI to help customers solve business and operational challenges. We will offer the services by combining the following three services tailored to address specific issues.

  1. Solution Approach:
    CTC standardizes the expertise we have accumulated through numerous experimental projects and provides AI agents designed for a wide range of business functions, including legal, human resources, audit, manufacturing, and sales. Combining multiple AI agents according to specific objectives allows users to achieve cross-functional automation and new operational model creation.
  2. AI Deployment Support Service:
    CTC assesses current business processes to identify time-consuming, manual tasks such as shift scheduling and document reviews. Based on these findings, CTC provides end-to-end support—from redesigning business processes with the use of AI agents, to defining evaluation metrics and deploying solutions into full-scale implementation.
  3. Data & AI Platform:
    By flexibly combining on-premises and cloud environments, CTC rapidly builds a platform that integrates data distributed across existing systems and cloud services. This enables the safe and efficient use of AI agents, while achieving both cost optimization/robust data protection and governance.

CTC has built IT systems and AI platforms for a wide range of industries to date, and developed the suite of services by combining the technologies cultivated through our AI agent development services tailored to specific business functions with our rich expertise in supporting shift to in-house digital transformation (DX). Going forward, CTC will roll out domain-specific AI agents for areas such as credit assessment and auditing in phases, further advancing the efficiency and sophistication of corporate customers’ operations.
