ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Tatsushi Shingu, President and CEO; hereinafter CTC) will launch offering of Dify Enterprise, an AI agent development platform from LangGenius, K.K. (headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Luyu Zhang, CEO; hereinafter LangGenius). The platform enables companies to easily develop AI agents tailored to their own data and business operations without requiring specialized programming expertise. Alongside provision of Dify Enterprise, which includes features such as collaborative development and editing by multiple users, CTC will also begin offering services to support the development of AI agents and their operation after deployment. We will offer the platform and services mainly to companies that promote the development and use of AI agents by their business units, and aim to achieve ¥3 billion in sales over the next three years.
In recent years, the use of generative AI to improve operational efficiency—such as summarizing meeting minutes and creating Q&A content based on internal documents—has been expanding. However, general-purpose generative AI often falls short of meeting the requirements of real-world business operations. As a result, AI agents, which can understand business requirements, make judgments on their own, and carry out complex tasks, have been gaining attention. On the other hand, there is a challenge that the development and operation of AI agents require a high level of specialized and technical expertise.
Dify is a platform that enables the development of a wide range of AI agents—including chatbots, content generation tools, and workflow automation—through simple operations such as drag-and-drop, without requiring programming knowledge. By referencing customers’ proprietary information, such as internal manuals and regulations, and allowing the AI itself to refine and polish outputs, Dify can generate more accurate responses that are closely aligned with requirements of real-world business operations compared to those generated by conventional general-purpose generative AI. As a result, users in business units—even those without specialized technical expertise— can rapidly develop AI agents tailored to their specific business needs.
Dify Enterprise is designed to enable multiple users to collaboratively create and edit AI agents while securely handling highly sensitive data. It supports role-based user permissions and centralized access status management, as well as single sign-on (SSO) integration for authentication. In addition, it provides features such as integration tools for websites and internal systems, and usage log analysis. These capabilities make it possible to safely and efficiently deploy AI agents integrated with enterprise systems—for use cases such as automating internal operations and running customer-facing chatbots in production environments.
